Eye-catching and fly-catching! Our shimmery green Chameleon puppet has no need to hide. True to life eyes can be moved independently while its lightning fast tongue darts forth to nab prey. Hand enters from underneath. This Hand Puppet is 18 inches long.

Quick! Catch a glimpse of this Chameleon before he changes color to match the ground cover.

Chameleons have adapted the ability to change color for many reasons such as to regulate body temperature, communicate with other chameleons, and camouflage themselves against predators in their natural habitat. Chameleons live high in trees and are rarely ever on the ground. Their feet are designed for grabbing branches, therefore making them very clumsy and easily caught and eaten by awaiting predators if ever on the ground.  This Hand Puppet is 28 inches long.

The Frill-necked Lizard, or Frilled Lizard also known as the Frilled Dragon, (Chlamydosaurus kingii) is so called because of the large ruff of skin which usually lies folded back against its head and neck. The neck frill is supported by long spines of cartilage, and when the lizard is frightened, it gapes its mouth showing a bright pink or yellow lining, and the frill flares out, displaying bright orange and red scales. The frill may also aid in thermoregulation. This Hand Puppet is 38 inches long.

In a quirky stance and ready to play, the FRILLED LIZARD hand puppet is full of surprises. With multiple variations of movement in his mouth and forelegs, you can even make his collar frill forward and back with a gentle squeeze of your fingers. He is 18 inches long, 11 inches wide and 8 inches tall. Click on the picture for a larger view.
