LONESTAR
HORSE (#02331)
Lonestar is a happy horse. He
loves to gallop through the fields and drink from
the cool streams. He likes to run like the
wind... and to sleep like... well, like a horse.
He never aspired to be a race horse or to pull a
beer wagon like his brothers and sisters. What he
does like to do however, is march down Main
Street in a parade carrying a cowboy, and he
likes to nibble at the popcorn offered him by
friendly children when he visits the park with
Officer Fred. Lonestar is 12 inches tall... and
that's much too small for his giant heart!

HORACE HORSE
(#M2567)
In the world of unlikely
professions, Horace Horse stands out. Or we
should say, dances out! Even as a pony he aspired
to a career in tap dancing figuring that his
advantage in this field, four legs instead of
two, would quickly propel him to the heights of
stardom. He changed his name to "Clackity
the Dancing Horse" so it would look better
in the biz magazines like Variety, Dance Magazine
and Horse Illustrated, and then he waited for his
career to take off. Unfortunately it was a long
wait. He hadn't figured on the fact that most
night clubs, dinner theaters, dance halls, and
the like, would have rules about not allowing
horses on stage because of damage to their wood
floors. Our Horace Horse is 12 inches tall.

HARRY HORSE
(#2814)
Harry is a natural blonde! And
he loves it! But it was not always so. As a pony
he couldn't stand looking just like every other
palomino pony in the corral. So he made a deal
with the Rancher's son to trade horseback trips
to school for a henna rinse. Harry loved being a
roan... but after only a few weeks in the sun his
coat began to turn pink... and this was worse
than blonde. The Rancher's son tried to help him
fix it with some black boot dye and for a while
he looked just like the famous "Black
Beauty." Unfortunately, with the first heavy
rain of winter, Harry began to turn purple... and
it was the last straw! After being "The
Horse of Many Colors" for the past six
months, being simply a palomino was beginning to
look pretty good. And after 16 shampoos and two
trips through the carwash, Harry is a palomino
again! He is 14 inches tall.

HUEY
HIPPOPOTAMUS (#02338)
The word hippopotamus
comes from two Greek words that mean river
horse. There are two species of
hippopotamuses. The smaller species, called the
pygmy hippo, stands barely waist-high to an adult
human. Its bigger relativeknown as the
river or common hippopotamus or, simply,
hippopotamusis one of the world's largest
and heaviest land animals, weighing up to about
8,800 lbs. Although strictly a plant eater, the
hippopotamus has massive jaws with formidable
tusks. It is said that he also has an
unpredictable temperament and is capable of
biting through small boats and slicing crocodiles
in two. Huey here says that this is all nonsense.
He looks nothing like a horse; he's 12 inches
tall and weighs 1/2 lb.; he loves everyone and he
never, never, never eats anything bigger than his
head! A good rule for all of us!

HILDA HIPPO
(#32021)
Hilda is just a little girl
hippopotamus who, when she grows up, will
probably tip the scales at around 8,000 lbs. We
suggest using a truck scale for checking this
out. In the meantime, our Hilda Hippo Hand Puppet
weighs less than 1/2 lb. and is a cute 10 inches
tall.
